17th November 25 years

25 years of my life I spent at that God forsaken job.

I put all the extra time and effort into that place and today of all days they decide

to fire me.

I'm far too old now to be looking for a new career.

What am I going to tell my wife about this?

I can't tell her.

I just I need to figure something else out and get a new job or something before she notices.

And how I can do that.

19th November so much has changed.

So much has changed since I last looked for a new job.

All these websites for it now and all these technology these younger kids are using now.

What happened to the old days we could just walk around with a paper resume and you could

step into a building for a place you wanted to work at and just talk to the boss, you know

hand them your papers and if you liked what he saw you just say something like let's

give you a shot son.

You'd start on Monday.

I always thought that it would be easy to find jobs after college.

Even this long after the search continues.

20th November.

I got it or at least an idea for something I can do until I find a real job.

I need to have money coming in so that my wife doesn't find out that I got fired right.
