Four travelers arrive at the Elf Song Tavern in Baldur's Gate

as the night grows cold and a chilling rain soaks them through.

The inn offers warmth but little safety

as hungry eyes and nervous hands welcome them inside.

Yesper, a human man who claims to be a traveler from a strange land has been waiting for them.

Sent by his master to guide them to his homeland and help defeat a terrible evil that is taken from bed.

Shadow beyond the veil a Tabaxi priest and Ziki Mistan a dragon-born sorceress

have both received visions from the gods to seek out this traveler and eat. Besides them travel their own bodyguards,

Rose Vanendy a human archer, and Xeros Mistam, a dragon-born who holds some connection to Ziki.

Into the night they travel, and it is not long before the strange mists encircle their wagon,

and they find themselves born to a new land, a dark dead land, and waiting for them as a strange darkly
