We're going to do back-to-back episodes on backcountry hunting

rifles. Last episode was on budget level rifles of suitable quality for serious use in the backcountry.

This episode we're talking about high quality rifles,

not that top shelf premium custom level that you'll get top shelf premium custom level that you pay thousands and

thousands for but really good solid upper crust rifles that you'll get at your dealer. These are production grade

rifles but for the most part they have increased quality and some features that make

them really suitable for use in the backcountry.

The reason I want to do this is because, well, got a big response to the last episode

on budget rifles. lots of folks responding and telling me

about the rifles they're using, some of the entry-level stuff that's performed

well and even more folks responding positively to the comment that I've finished

up with in that episode that we're going to do a full episode on the next level of rifles and lots and lots of questions and requests

to address certain models that our listeners are considering. So we're going to dive right into it. I'm Joseph
