Hey everybody welcome back to cold case murder mysteries. I'm your host Ryan Kraus

leading you back down the rabbit hole once again as we examine the

enigma that is the death of 32-year-old Liberian immigrant Henry McCabe who was

found dead in a lake near his Moundsview Minnesota home after a long night of partying in September 2015.

The medical examiner designated his cause of death as drowning, and it's widely assumed it could

have been accidental, as Henry had no sign of injury on his body.

But did he really just wander off and fall into the water, only to remain a missing person

until his body was found on November 2nd?

Let's take a look.

Now, to preface the discussion, this is a case that offers very little in the way of public evidence.

There aren't many clues available to create a narrative about what likely happened.

So let's see what we can squeeze out of it.

Henry is living the American dream at the time of his death,

meaning he's come to the United States and adopted the lifestyle many of us do in the pursuit of a better life.

Not only does he have a wife, two small children, and a good job as an auditor for the Minnesota Department of Revenue,

but Henry has also taken an interest

in politics and the community at large. Things seem to be going well. Except, rumors suggest

there might have been marital problems with his wife, Corinne, and he had recently been given a bad review of his performance at work.

On top of that, Henry was in debt. Of course, that's a good percentage of the American public and so it

doesn't suggest that death was imminent for him. So let's watch where the

clues take us. Was it an accident, suicide, or murder?
