This is the baseball Tonight podcast for Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, and today will be better than yesterday.

I'm buster only working from my hotel in Connecticut.

We've been doing baseball tonight's this week,

and Taylor Shink is working from the Shink studios

where Taylor, we talked about maybe getting together

this morning and it didn't happen. My heart hurts buster.

We were uh, we're gonna enjoy some bagels together.

I sent you a picture. I set the studio up and then, uh, I guess a little program called Sports

Center must have came Colin because, uh came calling because that's the only thing that could overtake the podcast

Sports Center radio it's like a constant stuff going on this time of year. It's it's been absolutely nuts. It feels like you you know you wake up at

530 every day and just going and going and going so sorry that didn't work out. I look

forward to meeting Lola and look forward to meeting Dolly

is apoplectic, but she'll get over it.

And she would have, you know, I mean, she would have known right away, I'm a big dog person.

And we would have definitely hit it off so hopefully we can make

that happen soon. All right today we're gonna be talking with Alex Zavila

longtime Major League catcher who of course played a lot of his career with the Detroit Tigers.

They had an incredible game against the Cleveland Guardians on Monday in the

best of three American League division series in Cleveland.

Terex Schoolball was unbelievable in this game.

Two two. And that's in there, strike three with the four seam fastball and Terric Schouble strikes out the side.

In fact, he's fanned four consecutive batters.
