And so one of the things that I found really interesting when I was getting into,

the very preliminary stages of planning out the future orchard at my house was this whole idea from Dave Wilson of backyard orchard culture where you are breaking the traditional rules of high scalescale, you know, large acreage orchardists and you're

planting more densely, you're pruning in different ways, and one of the things that really

stuck out to me was this high- planting idea so I figured maybe we could

kick off with that. Yeah sounds great. Yeah it is definitely a new way to look at

fruit trees I think for somebody who hasn't grown up around

fruit trees or been around this, the idea of a fruit tree is this big tall tree

that grows really, really big and once a year it's apple season or whatever and this takes it from that kind of

large scale orchard style commercial orchard style and brings it and makes it smaller and more accessible

to the backyard grower.

And so, yeah, this idea, this concept around this backyard orchard culture is really taken off and just like you I started off looking

at Dave Wilson nursery videos back in the day years ago or so and the idea of doing high density planting is that you're getting in the space where you would normally see one tree
