One of the things that we have to always take a step back with is that Allah

is accessible throughout the year. We don't have to wait for this one night a

year to feel that connection. So the connection you feel in your home with the

Nani Ta'ada in the corner of your room could be just as great, just as blessed as

what we experience when we do it together. But I pray that there's blessing at it.

And I was sharing with Sheikh Yasir and I'll start with this inshallah before we

start with the reflections. I don't know if any of you remember how the English

du'at started. It was actually spontaneous on the spot in our old

measures of the few years ago. Sheikh Yasir said when we finished, he said,

Sheikh Umar, why don't you make a du'at in English once we're done with the

salat? So JazakAllah, Sheikh Yasir, I think it's a it's a testimony to the idea that

people want to talk to God and sometimes they don't know how to and I think

that if this Ramadan you know all the reminders of du'at that we've had was

not a reminder that talk to Allah and the most natural and organic way that

you can stop worrying about the script, worry about the sincerity and

bid nani ta'ada your connection will will remain and may Allah make us amongst

those that are always connected to Him. I mean, insha'Allah, as we continue

tonight, tomorrow night, bid nani ta'ada will be doing half a session of reading

and then half a session of reflections from everyone else. Obviously we're

trying something new, you know, every year we want to hear from you all and we
