Another essay Friday.

Just do a quick intro.

This is something I wrote quite a long time ago now back in 2008.

It's from a collection of essays I wrote while I was traveling that I actually turned into a book planning on publishing this again. So stay tuned.

If you like this story, there's more that came and I'm going to be republishing this over the

next year or so, I hope. But this one was called High Adventure. It's about a climb I did in

Ireland with a friend of mine called Michael. Michael and I had met in Prague. I was taking a

teaching English as a foreign language course in Prague back in 2008 after I'd first moved to Sweden.

Mia was in school at the time. I was doing nothing, so I went off to Prague for a month, like anyone

would do, and took a TEFL course. I met Michael there and instead of going straight back to

Sweden, we decided to go for a little adventure and flew together to Ireland for five days. We rented a car,

drove around the countryside. Anyway, this is the story. This was written on Monday, February 4th, 2008,

and it's called High Adventure. Today I had, without a doubt, the worst shower.

Today I had, without a doubt, the worst shower of my life.

You know how you feel after a long day of skiing, you're soaking wet and freezing cold, a cold that will not go away without a hot shower.

Well that was me today, and after my long anticipated shower, I'm still freezing cold.
