high school scientists who have done some really fascinating research with the added benefit

that I could actually understand most of it. At the annual meeting of the American Association

for the Advancement of Science back in February, I ran into a few dozen high school students

who were presenting

their research in a big poster session. The kids had won their state science competitions,
