Late last month the Vital Statistics Council of Canada released new data about the

country's 2022 death rate citing cancer, heart disease, and COVID-19 is the leading causes of death.

Conspicuously absent on the list where the Canadians killed under the country's medical

assistance and dying program, which numbered over 13,000 deaths last year.

When the public noticed the omission, Canadian officials clarified that made deaths are

officially attributed to whatever ailment the person cited as the reason for their suicide.

Well, given how expansive made has become, that means that some deaths must be attributed to anxiety,

addiction, and other non-fatal conditions.

Not only will this hide the skyrocketing numbers of people in Canada dying by state assistance, it will distort

the data that public health officials need to track disease and health trends.

But worst of all, it sends a message that disability, mental illness, suffering in general can be as fatal as cancer if we're not strong enough to handle them.

And that, like this official report, is simply a lie.
