Yes, I'm standing as a candidate and a safe conservative seat for a Labour party.

So it's an exercise in futility if there ever was one, but never mind it has to be done.

It makes me very proud, though.

There's nothing like knowing that you're going down in flames before you start doing it anyway.

That, to me, is what's truly British.

You have to give people a choice. And, of course, the other thing is that the Liberal Democrats are running their

traditionally dishonest campaign down here, you know, about the health service and all that are.

I think so, you know, they've got to be kept in their box because they can't be trusted with

the remote for the tell tele, never mind with any

kind of position of government.

Well, while this place is quite often, I was going to say it should be an erection-free

zone, I think, that there's a couple of hard-ons that are generally roundabout this podcast
