Summary

The most important part of a believer’s life is the part that only God sees – the hidden life. In Psalm 91, believed to be written by Moses, we see the importance of hiding in the Lord and seeking His presence as a place of refuge. Why do we need a place of refuge? Because we have an enemy, Satan, and demonic forces constantly setting traps for us. Join our Bible study to learn more about hiding in the Lord in the midst of spiritual attacks.

0:05.0	Psalm 91 says, he who dwells, everybody say dwells.
0:10.3	He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.
0:18.2	I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress. My God, in him, I will trust.
0:28.6	Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
0:33.9	He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings, you shall take refuge.
0:39.0	His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
0:42.6	You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
0:45.4	nor of the arrow that flies by day,
0:48.2	nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
0:51.9	nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon day.
0:56.3	A thousand may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
1:03.7	Father God, we invite you into our Bible study now, and we pray that by your Holy Spirit, God,
1:09.1	that you would teach us. You're our teacher. You're our chief
1:12.4	shepherd. So open up our hearts now to hear from you. And now as we submit ourselves to your word,
1:19.5	I pray that you would just give us understanding, Lord. You're our teacher. You be our teacher. Lord.
1:25.8	You're our shepherd. You're our chief shepherd.
1:28.4	So would you teach us now as we read your word?
1:31.1	Encourage us by your word, Lord.
1:32.9	We pray in Jesus' name and all God's people together said, amen.
1:36.8	You may be seated.
1:42.8	I think that probably all of us are familiar with the childhood game, hide and go seek.
