Have you ever lost something that you had just a minute before?

In fact, I live in the perpetual finding state, not just because of me, but because of my

amazing wife Kim, because every day she loses her phone.

Every day she comes to me and she says, would you call me?

And she doesn't mean, hi honey, how are you, she means you call me and so I'm calling

your phone all the time and sometimes I'm just astonished because you had it just a

minute before.

And really Kim only covers a small territory of land when you think of the full scale of

this planet.

Imagine if you actually traveled the full spectrum of this planet and you lost something, you

couldn't remember, you put it, how in the world did you ever find it?

That's the kind of scale that we are looking at when we're talking about Jesus stepping

into human history.

But some obscure place in a town called Bethlehem in some anonymous barn somewhere, God decides

to intervene in human history.

And so not only is that space so minimal in comparison to the entire scale of this planet,

but then you also had to know the right moment in history.
