Summary

There are certain artifacts in history that continue to raise questions no one has been able to fully answer.

The Shroud of Turin… the Sudarium of Oviedo… ancient cloths tied to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Studied for decades… analyzed by scientists… and still surrounded by mystery.

But hidden within these relics is a detail that keeps showing up—again and again.

A detail that shouldn’t be there… and yet it is.

In this episode, Joel Thomas from Free The Rabbits takes a closer look at the Passion Cloths, the science behind them, and the question that continues to linger:

What exactly are we looking at? And what does this mean to the Christian on a deeper level?

0:46.1

human blood. And that's very important to this concept. Now, I want to start with Thomas Aquinas,

and he was an Italian Dominican friar and priest, theologian and philosopher.

0:55.3

I've talked about him a lot on this channel, specifically when it comes to angelology.

And he wrote a famous Eucharistic hymn called Adoro Te Devote.

1:05.3

And in that hymn, he said that one drop of his blood has the spiritual power to save the entire human race.

1:13.4

So there is a lot of interest in the blood of Jesus because if he shed his blood for us and gave us a pathway to salvation, the idea of his blood is of a lot of interest to the Christian.

1:28.5

1:36.1

And these are called the Passion Cloths.

1:38.5

And these Passion Cloths, we'll start with the first one, the Shrout of Turin.

1:42.4
