And that all changed a little over a century ago. People started moving into the cities. That became the majority.

The number of folks living in small towns and farms, it continues to decline. Today, only 20% of us actually live in the heartland.

But agriculture still adds over $150 billion to the economy every single year. That's huge.

And that number is even more impressive when you realize that only 2% of all Americans actually

work in agriculture.

So farming definitely had to change.

And it certainly did.

It became heavily dependent on technology.

We're talking about enormous tractors that are guided by GPS systems.

They're pretty commonplace these days.
