Saturday and Sunday, obviously with that being done

kind of a short week we got some other stuff going on so I didn't want to not

doing episodes or this episode might be a little shorter than normal but I think it's a fascinating

story. Well all righty. All right you ready for this one? Let's do it. As in most of the world

soccer as we call it here and football in the rest of the world is the number one

sport in the Congo which is a country over in Africa. So one of the most bizarre and tragic incidents that ever take place in sports happened

back in the Congo in October of 1998. So Tracy the local team I believe is pronounced

binashade was playing

Bessanga team. They were playing during a thunderstorm.

I'm not sure why this is, but according to NASA NASA Africa is the lightning capital of the world at

least for the 18 years that they've actually been keeping track of it.

Dang well why wasn't the world would they go and play football?
