Hey guys, welcome to episode 76 of McCall, Miss Fortune. I'm Jerry.

And I'm Tracy.

Tracy, my voice is completely screwed and I'm coughing my head off.

But I think we can get through this.

All right, sweetie.

This is a particularly sad story that we've got today.

It's about the Rwanda genocide back in 1994.

I don't think this story gets enough recognition about what went on.

You hear a lot about some other situations throughout history.

But this one, man, it's going to just blow people's mind who are unfamiliar with it.

And that's my whole point.

There are a lot of people who are unfamiliar with it.

I just don't know about it.

And you know, it's something everybody should probably know about.

So we're going to do our bit to try to help a little bit.

So before we get into the story, let's talk a little bit about what a genocide is.

In a nutshell, it's the killing off of a large group of people with the intention of basically eliminating them.

That's awful.
