We were living in a little town in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

Town caught Lake City, Tennessee, which is now called Rocky Top.

That's about 40 miles north of Knoxville.

Many of us teenagers used to climb up to a huge house-sized boater

called Party Rock.

And this boaters visible from I-75 in the fallen winter

when all the leaves have fallen from the trees.

We would hang out there, hence the term Party Rock.
