welcome to episode 31 of the midweek episode. This is going to be a fun one. Well, I like fun ones.

I kind of tease this one a little bit on one of the shorts that we did. The story that we've got

tonight, first of all, we got Darren Marler coming on from Weird Darkness. He's going to be our

special guest tonight. Absolutely loved Darren. We go back a couple of years. A lot of you probably already listened to his show, but if not, you're going to be our special guest and I absolutely love Darren. We go back a couple of years.

But if not, you're going to be in for a treat. Because this one's actually kind of a long one. He tells us some of his interesting little facts and stuff. And then we've actually got a clip of his show to be able to play at the end. So it's going to be fun. before that though we have what I believe is actually one of the best stories that we've told on Hillbilly Horror Stories, and we're doing it on this midweek episode. What? What are you laughing about? You always say that. Well, I can't help it if other ones are better. At the time, it was one of the best. And this one's new. So this is actually called the Stockwell Poultergeist. And this

door takes place over in Stockwell, which is in south of London and England, January 6th and 7th of 1772.

So it goes back a little bit of a ways. So the area right here in South London was mostly

farmland back in this time. And one of the farms belonged to a gentleman by the name of John Paines.

So on January 6th at 10 a.m., Mary Golding was in the parlor of the house that she lived in.

She starts hearing these sounds and stuff like of breaking glass in China.

This was the result of all these things that she had on the wall,

falling off the wall and into the floor and breaking in the kitchen floor. Her maid, Ann Robinson,

she calls for her, and they both ran down into the kitchen in time to see another row of plates

fall off of the shelf and onto the floor. So at this point, items from all over the entire house basically start falling all at once.
