| 0:30.0 | Hey guys welcome to Hillbilly Horror Stories midweek episode 13. We've got a fun one for you tonight. The guys and gals from the horror chronicles. |
| 1:00.0 | We're going to talk to you about the gates of hell in Illinois. We did a little memory we were doing videos when everybody said like three years ago. |
| 1:12.0 | Hey dude videos we'll watch them and then like now three years later there's like 55 years on them. You remember that? One of the videos that we did was actually on the gates of hell. |
| 1:22.0 | This same one and we tried to show some little pictures like that I print off and it was holding them up to the camera. It was horrible. They did such a better job than what we did. |
| 1:32.0 | Yeah. It's obvious. |
| 1:34.0 | But they're going to be on. It's a fun podcast. You've heard them on the Halloween episodes. So all right so we got a little story for you tonight. |
| 1:42.0 | This is a story that I heard a long time ago way before starting this show and I had completely forgotten about it. |
| 1:49.0 | It's from the great state of Wyoming and more specifically the Platte River. This is the ship of death. |
| 2:00.0 | Man, the stories just keep better. Better. |
| 2:04.0 | So you definitely don't want to see this ship. Trust me. But let's say if you do see it here's what it's going to look like. It's very old and outdated. |
| 2:16.0 | The deck on the ship is all rotted. The masks are like broken and the sales are all ripped up. So something like a cruise we could afford. |
| 2:26.0 | Tell. You know that's right. |
| 2:30.0 | Oh, did I tell you that there's a strange fog that accompanies it? I didn't tell you that did I know it's like it's not even it doesn't even look natural. |
| 2:40.0 | It's like a completely unnatural looking fog that's always seen like an extra attraction. Yeah. Cool. Probably like the like the one I made with my fog machine when I said all the smoke alarms and then I was off. |
| 2:54.0 | But that's not all. This ship has a crew and passengers. They're all crowded on the deck. And they're all obviously dead. Oh man. |
| 3:06.0 | They must have been a fun crowd to hang together like that. So they're covered in a light frost everything the whole ship. Frost. |
| 3:13.0 | But what's more important is that there's also a very pale corpse that spread out on a canvas sheet. |
| 3:23.0 | So the people in the deck are all kind of gathered around this corpse. And as the ship gets close to some people that are on shore and usually there's not very many people. |
| 3:33.0 | It's just a couple as it gets closer. What happens is the ghost people or these phantoms, whatever they are, they start to separate away from the dead body. |
| 3:43.0 | Now at this point, the people who are on the shore can see the body. And in every case, it's the corpse turns out to look exactly like a person that you know extremely well. |
| 3:57.0 | Who? Unfortunately, that person dies within 24 hours. Now I'm saying each different for each person. You see what I'm saying? No. I missed out. What you said? |
