Chapter five I am my own worst enemy

Roughly a year ago I decided to write a book and the idea of sharing my paranormal experiences was exciting

As was the prospect of recounting how the Hibali Horror Stories podcast has actually become a powerful support system for listeners

Excitement soon turned to anxiety when I realized that in writing about those two topics

I would inevitably have to share my past

Now that past or the person that I used to be is

Not something that I'm proud of

That person seemingly ruined nearly everything that I held sacred in my life

Thus it took nearly that entire year to convince myself to actually put the pen to paper

When it comes to the paranormal nothing scares me

But the thought of people reading an unfavorable version of the Jerry that they've come to know from the podcast
