Hey friends, happy Tuesday. It's August 1st. You're not normally used to hearing from me on a

Tuesday, but I have a couple announcements and I thought it was worth coming into your headphones

today to let you know these announcements. First thing I want to tell you is happy August. We have

a great show ahead of us. I want to tell you some of our guests for this month. We've got Russell

Moore coming out tomorrow, Hosanna Wong, Heather McFadden, Kurt Thompson, and Tadashi are all going

to be here this month for August. Great shows, which that leads me to an announcement that I would

love to let you know about. We just finished our encounter series, which was all summer long,

and it was really me asking people, tell me about your encounter with Jesus. If you missed any of

those, I highly recommend you to listen to them. They are faith-building, that is for sure.

They instill hope in us as we listen. Honestly, if you're someone who is just checking out this

Jesus thing, those shows are really, really great to hear other people's encounters with him and

what that looked like for them. As we wrap up the encounter series and head back into August,

we do have a change coming up on the happier that I want to let you know about. In the past,

over the summer, we've released only one show a week. We take a little break, we do a few less

shows, we give you time to catch up, and normally come August, we jump right back into two shows a

week. We've been doing two shows a week since January of 2020, and now my friends were going back

to one show a week. This is actually a change I've been personally wanting to make for a long time.

As an avid podcast listener, I have a hard time finding enough time to listen to all the shows that
