Hey friends and welcome to episode 503 of the happy hour. We are in the middle of our summer series all about loving God. Yeah, and I truly believe that loving God with all that we have in us.

I believe it's hard work and I also think it's done better in community. So think of the happy hour as your little community that's going to actually go into your real community that you do life with.

And we're bringing you a five part series based all on Luke chapter 10 verse 27 where Jesus says he says you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your body, with all your mind and your neighbor as your self.

I believe that each of these parts of us our bodies our minds our strength our souls they matter to God. I think they matter to our community.

I think they matter to the work we do every week and I think they matter to our families. So we've invited some really fabulous people on the happy hour over these five weeks to talk about loving God with all that we have today on the show.

We have Alisa Keaton and Alisa is I don't know how to describe it without getting teary eyed because she has been on the show before episode 175 a long, long, long time ago.

But she's really dear to me because we have a relationship over Voxer and I will send her messages and she will preach messages back to me and she's just been a really big encouragement my life in the past couple of years.

And I value so deeply the work she's doing through revelation wellness revelation wellness is faith based training for your body, mind and spirit.

If that doesn't go along with this whole summer series, I don't know what else does their motto is love God get healthy. Be whole and love others.

I did it last summer. It's already started by the time this comes out, but it's worth doing in the ways even if you get behind on it.

And when I knew we were going to talk about loving the Lord our God with our strength, we took it as loving him with our bodies.

And I knew that I wanted to talk with Alisa on this subject. She has a heart for really entering to the spaces of those of us who believe lots of lies about our bodies.

And she wants to speak truth over them and believes that we can actually love God with our bodies.

You guys, if you missed last week, Trina was here talking about loving God with our soul and the week before that was our friends got sauce talking about loving God with our hearts.

Coming up next week is loving God with our minds and then right after that, we'll finish the series with loving our neighbor as ourselves.
