Who is a professor in Waco, Texas? Go Bears. We talked about that. But Dr. Angela Garell released a book called The Gravity of Joy

A story being lost and found and Lindsay Michael worker here podcast producer told me about this book last year that her and friends in her book club had read and she loved it

And so I had the joy and the privilege of interviewing Angela on this episode and we talked about this book

You know early on in her book it she has a line in it that says my vocation was supposed to be joy and I was speaking at funerals

So she talks about

Joy and sorrow and loss. I also want to let you know in this conversation

We talk about opioid addiction and suicide. So I just want to let you know both of those are in the show

I read this book earlier in the year and devoured it. I loved it

I loved it so so much and it was just full of stories and I couldn't stop reading so check it out
