Diane and this is Denise we love doing these ones because these are completely off the

cuff so anything could be said or happen and what we're going to be doing

is sharing with you our experience at the Haunted America Conference. We had a great

time took a couple of tours, heard a few lectures and enjoyed a lot of time with some of the spook-tacular

crew.

So we took off on Friday, June 24th.

We got into St. Louis, Missouri, about 1230-ish. Yeah, just right around lunchtime. So we went and got our car and we decided to drive on into Alton and see if we could at least find the conference center and we were going to be staying at the hotel there as well.

And on our way we made our first stop in Alton, which is we're driving down the road.

We're just driving along and we see something that's of interest we pull over and

stop and check it out so our first stop we go by and we see this statue that's over on the left

hand side of the street there's a couple people out there taking pictures

and we're like wow that's a really tall statue and then we realized oh yeah

one of our spectacular crew members had posted a picture of that statue it features

Robert Waldlow a lot of that statue it features Robert Waldlow. A lot of people called him the

Alton giant and his claim to fame is that he is the tallest man that ever lived

at least I would say in the modern era we hear about giants and such in the Bible but he in our modern era was the tallest man that ever lived and it's just amazing here this little town of Alton is where he was born.

His story is quite sad though because he had that tumor.

Basically we've come to find out that these people are not just
