So how did you like venture into the health and wellness space?

0:14.7

Like what tipped you off to, you know, all the craziness that is happening with the FDA,

0:20.3

the WHO, the CDC.

0:23.6

Yeah. So I had been, I think I had been working as a health writer for about, I guess it's been a

0:31.3

couple of years before the pandemic started. So, you know, a lot of my, a lot of my job entails reading clinical research.

0:40.7

Anytime I'm writing an article, I have to read through tons of studies and make sure I have,

0:45.7

you know, plenty of supporting evidence for whatever I'm saying or whatever the, you know,

0:49.8

the doctors and the experts I'm interviewing are saying.

I was really only seeing one angle on everything from, you know, the lockdowns and the masks and the vaccines.

1:34.3

And it just, it kind of resulted in this sort of awakening for me over the course of the pandemic.

1:42.0

And I thought, like, who's being the voice for these other people?

1:59.3

Being that my grandfather had worked in pharmaceuticals for my entire life, and he was kind of a father figure to me.

2:03.6

I just started doing a little research. I'm not really sure where it was going to lead.

2:09.6

And it really led me down this wild rabbit hole of investigations and interviews, that resulted in the in the piece that I

2:20.4

wrote about about pharma but um I mean it was really it was really long and I didn't even I didn't

2:28.5

even get to cover every aspect of it you know so that's what I thought is I was reading it. Yeah.

2:35.1

I mean, as I was writing it and it kept getting longer and longer, the more research I did.
