then now going on, we're just slowly building on ourselves so that after 12 weeks, we have a really

good foundation for finding more joy just in our everyday lives is really what it's about.

So today we're talking about creating a family mission statement. And this is something that I think

is a very cool exercise. It's not mandatory. There's nothing like special or magical about it, but I think

it's a really neat way to be able to direct kind of our mindset and our priorities and our thought

process when we're feeling overwhelmed and bogged down and overwhelmed and crazy. Did I already say

overwhelmed? I'll probably say that a few more times.

And just crazy and just life can be out of control. And I think a family mission statement can be

a really helpful way of helping us kind of like hone in and really figure out what we should

focus on and to give us a little bit of extra passion and excitement about those things that we want to do.

So for example, for me, again, this is going to vary so much depending on your season of life.

But for me, I have found that I can lose my passion sometimes for parenting.
