Jamie Belmay. Welcome back, ladies, to the Homemaking Foundation's podcast. I have got a

fantastic interview today for you with Rebecca Hargraves. And we're going to be talking about

lies, moms believe, and how the gospel refutes them. It's a great talk. I really love talking

Rebecca. I felt like we could have talked for

hours chatting about lies moms believe and how hard motherhood can be and yet how sweet the gospel is.

And so I definitely have to have Rebecca back on the podcast. And, you know, today we're talking about

the fact that Vienna mom is hard. It really is. We have a lot to deal with day in and day out. There's a lot of decisions. There's a lot of pressure. And there's also a lot of lies about motherhood that we buy into and that we believe. You know, there's lies like you are enough. There's lies like mommy guilt is just something I'm going to have to live with forever. And there's lies of

I'm selfish if I need me time. And there's also self, there's also lies of I need all the me

time in the world. I need me, me, me, me, me, me time. There are lies all over the place.

And there's a lot of lies we believe about motherhood and ourselves.

And so what we're talking about today is those lies that we believe and then how the gospel

radically influences and impacts our motherhood and our day-to-day living.

So I have, like I said, I've got Rebecca Hargraves here with us today.

She is the author of a book called Lies, Moms Believe. It's a great book. I highly recommend you

check it out. And she has a new podcast called The Home and Harth Podcast. And so I was actually

on her podcast a couple of weeks ago, and we were talking about

homemaking, how to point back to Christ within that.

So that was a great talk.
