Hey, look, good morning. It's Friday, and I'm awful glad it's Friday.

How about you? Look, I'm awful glad it's Friday. How about you? Look, I'll acknowledge I've only been a Democrat

for about a month, maybe just a little over a month. Again, for all of you who are new hi kiko for all of you who are new

listeners i'm a former tea party congressman got elected in the tea party wave was was a Republican my whole life, my whole adult life.

I voted for Trump in 2016, very publicly turned against Trump shortly thereafter,

finally officially turning against him in 2018.

And then I ran against him in the Republican primary for president in 2019, 2020.

I didn't succeed.

And then I left, formally left the Republican Party five and a half years ago.

I'd been an independent, politically independent, homeless and independent for about five or

so years until about a month ago when I formally joined the Democratic Party.

I became a Democrat.

For those of you who are new listeners, I just wanted you to know that from the Tea Party

to the Democratic Party in about 14 years. Quite a ride. But I've only been a Democrat now

for only a month. And it's not my nature to be gentle. It's not my nature to tiptoe.

I don't want to step on people's toes. I don't want to step on Democrats' toes. People who've been

Democrats, their whole lives, man. And here I come along.
