You, the free spirit. I titled it, hey free spirit, here's a calculator, and I meant that title.

I intended for it to be very much a call to you to maybe shed a little bit just a smidgen of that

free spiritedness for a few moments each month where you can kind of just grab your calculator and

dawn a nerd hat and do your money and not hide behind the fact that you are a quote unquote free spirit.

Next episode will very likely be about nerds needing to chill but in this episode I want to talk to you the free spirit

if you're in a relationship and you call yourself the free spirit and your other you know

your significant other is the nerd and that significant other that is the nerd is stressed out because you

Being your free spirit self will consistently overspend

You know evade any kind of budget talks you won't sit down and say let's do the budget

you don't want to be quote unquote controlled you don't even want to have

conversations around where the money should be going,

you don't want to put intention behind any of the money, then I would say you need to just

stop. to just stop and don't be a free spirit for a couple hours a month where you can

show this nerd spouse of yours some respect and be able to say, you know what, I recognize this isn't my

favorite thing to do. I recognize that I would rather do a thousand other things, but for the

sake of the relationship, for the sake of this person

that I love across the table for me, for the sake of our finances and making sure that we're

on the same page and having things go as good as they possibly can go.

For all of that, I will lose this free-spiritedness for just an hour or two each month,
