I'm currently sitting inside of LSU's newly renovated football operations facility.

And if you listen closely, you're going to hear a sound that doesn't occur very often over here.

You hear that?

Yeah, it's complete in total silence.

Okay, so maybe it's not complete in total silence.

Like there's actually some people milling around in here,

but the bigger point is this.

For the last time all year,

most of LSU's players and coaches have gone home

for one final weekend for the 2019

season starts. Players and coaches report back to camp on Thursday, August 1st, and I have some good

news.

Well, yes, I see. Good news, everyone! Welcome to Hey Fight and Podcast, the official podcast of LSU football.

Each week, I'm going to take you inside of LSU's football program,

like literally inside the doors of this facility,

and tell you all the stories that you might not otherwise hear.

Of course, we're going to talk X's and O's and depth charts and schemes

and all the things that you want to know for football season,
