conversation it's always fun conversation the anti-gun the gun band people say well you know can't we just have a conversation okay let's have a conversation and then we of course start to try to define the terms because if you're using the same words

but you can't agree upon the meaning of the words you can't really find a common solution,

But they don't like it when we try to find terms

because they say, well, you're just,

you're caught up in the meanings, the definitions,

the technical thing.

Well, yeah, if you say you want to ban this thing,

we ought to know what it is you're talking about banning.

And it's core, at its core, this thing to understand, at its core,

they don't care about the definitions because they do want to ban them all.

So these particulars about what they want to ban this time are not all that important because

it's just a case of we're going to get what we can now and then we're going to come back for the rest of them later.
