0:42.1

Yeah, it's been a really busy weekend and day around the shop, which is exciting. But yeah, yeah, doing well. We had Celtic Fest this weekend, which is our annual convention here in Jackson of all folks that are

obsessed with things of, you know, Celtic nature. Well, and things without Celtic nature as well.

1:02.0

We've talked about it before, but Celtic Fest is historically, anyway, been the place where

1:06.7

Mississippians come to let their freak flag fly.

1:10.4

Boy, you're not kidding, man. Much love to this one individual, because I feel like we got to talk about them. But there was one individual in particular who came to Celtic Fest. And then, you know, for those of you who are not familiar, Celtic Fest, you would hear that and think, okay, that kind of an Irish, Scottish. Yeah, it meets kind of Renaissance fair. Yeah, yeah, that's kind of the mindset. Yeah. Homeboy came dressed up as a Jedi. As Jedi. Now, when you see him, you think, okay, maybe he's like a cleric or a monk or something of that nature, a druid, like druidism, that was like a Celtic thing. But no, he actually had to strap to his side a lightsaber. Yeah, no, it was legit. And so after being ridiculed, which I don't think it was fair to ridicule him, because again, let your freak flag fly. That's fine. I'm very much in support of cosplay. I don't participate myself, but I do appreciate it. But I will say this, you know, after all the flack that he got, he ended up buying a cane,

hiding his lightsaber. And when I went up to ask him, are you a druid or a monk?

2:06.5

Yeah. He just said, yes. You got to give him props for being authentic in a, in an environment

2:14.5

that screams authenticity. Right, right. But no, overall, man, Celtic Fest this year, kind of a little bit of a bust. Yeah, yeah, it was really slow this year. So, you know, I don't really know, you know, what that was about. Obviously, you know, in the deep south, we've got lots of football games and the weather and, you know, just stuff going on. So you never know. But the turnout was a little down, but we did sell a few pipes and had a really good time and drank a whole lot of Guinness. Yeah. That is, that to me has always historically been my favorite part of Celtic Fest is, you know, the squire goes out. You guys have kind of almost like a little lounge area that you, you put up.

Got to meet a good friend of yours,
