Summary

Carl and Ruby are twins. They do everything together, for better or for worse. When the duo misbehaves, their mother says that it’s like they turn into different children. She calls these alter-egos “Herman and Petunia.” One summer day, when the siblings are home alone, they find two children, who look exactly like them, making an enormous mess in the kitchen. The strange, uninvited guests have no manners and exhibit bad behavior. Surely, mom would disapprove. What ensues is a mad chase throughout the day for Carl and Ruby to try and contain these two bizarro versions of themselves.
