Hello and welcome back to the Power Hour, the Heritage Foundation Center for Energy, Climate, and Environment's

podcast. I'm your host, Jack Spencer.

Jack Hager is producing again today. Jack, how are you, sir? I'm doing well. How are you, Jack? I'm very good. And what are we going to talk about today? Yeah, I like to banter beforehand. And I was thinking, you know, when I'm not toiling here at the Heritage Foundation, I like to do four things. I've probably covered them in one sense or another before, but I'm going to bring them up again because this time of year I get

to do all four. I like to hunt, fish, grow and build. And it's springtime, you know what's great

about spring? You get to do all four. And in the last week, I've done all four of these things. It's turkey season

last weekend. I got to spend some time out in the woods chasing turkeys. I should mention,

I'm not good at any of these things. And that was demonstrated last weekend, having sat in

in the woods with some fake turkeys in front of me for about four hours and not having seen

even one my turkey calls sound like not turkeys and i think that's my main problem

would you care to demonstrate i did you know what i didn't i had like these tools that make

turkey calls you and and i'm just not good at any of them. So I can't demonstrate right now.

But if you'd like to, I can bring some in next time, and I'd be happy to.

And then there's, so that's the hunting.

I went fishing yesterday.

And again, I caught nothing.

I did catch one, but it wasn't what I was going after.

Then there's the growing.

I do a ton of gardening.

I'm a big garden guy.

I'm not very good at that either.
