It's going just fine.

Had a lovely weekend on Sunday.

Kate and I became godparents to the youngest son of our good friend and subbeacon co-host Michael Warren. Oh my goodness. Well,

he'll definitely know how to pour a drink. I do the important things, really. Kate did all the

hard work. You know, she carried the baby and then there's this enormous Pascolle candle.

It's very high and you have to take your candle and then light it from there, but it's very high. And then, so she did that. And then Mike leaned in and said, it's a good thing it wasn't you. It's very high and you have to take your candle and then light it from there, but it's very high.

Well, it's a can.

You're going candle to candle. And so, you know, but that's that's the least of my concerns as a god parent because, and I've

written about this before in the weekly standard, and maybe you can still find it in the archives,

although, as you know, the archives are all messed up for certain reasons. And the column was
