I'm Pastor Mike Winger and this is Bible Thinker the program dedicated to thinking

biblically about everything. Yeah, we're good to go. So here's what we're going to do

today. Let me explain very briefly.

And if you're ever watching my streams and you're like, you jump in and you're 10 minutes in, you're five minutes in,

and you're like, what's you talking about? Back up to the first like minute or two of my

stream and I'll tell you what the stream's about and then you could jump back

with us and you'll track with us. I always front load with the topic we're talking

about today. So here's the topic today. Sometimes as

Christians we're talking to people about the evidence for the Christian faith

and we hear stuff that just sounds in a word nutty. It just sounds nuts but we don't have an answer for it because I've never

heard that before I've never heard that objection to Christianity before so I don't

have any way to respond to it and that's why I make videos like I'm giving you answers to

those sometimes nutty objections and sometimes just misinformed things.

Today the objection is this the objection to Christian faith is that Paul didn't know much about Jesus.

Another may not seem like a big deal to you, but think it through for a second.

If Paul the apostle really didn't know who Jesus was, maybe he was just making things up in his

letters or maybe he was he was just sort of talking about a whole different Jesus

than the guy they're talking about in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

And so we have these theories some people throw out there about there being two different

sort of Jesus, the Jesus of Paul, the Jesus of the Gospels, and stuff like that.

Anyway, this stuff gets pretty hairy pretty quickly but it's all based upon one idea that we can examine very easily and we'll do it today the idea is what did Paul based upon the letters of Paul what did Paul, based upon the letters of Paul, what did Paul know about Jesus historically?

What can we say Paul knew about Jesus?
