Hello guys and welcome to the 100th episode of the Not the Top 20 podcast brought to you by myself Ali Maxwell

alongside me as he has been throughout George Ehrlich. Now I'm a little bit emotional I'm going to try not to get too emotional.

So George when we started this in my front

room all those years ago, did you think we'd reach 100? No, I don't think I necessarily thought we'd

reach 100 like a year ago. So it's pretty, obviously the rate of recording has gone up. It's kind of a cheesy thing, I guess, to say.

But it's just amazing to think how many people see a notification on their phone that they want to just hang out with me and you and listen to us.

Talk about football.

It's incredible.

But a lot of people have tweeted us today saying, here's to another 100.

And I think that's exactly what Ali and I would love to

happen so it's been it's been amazing it's been you know we've been very lucky to cover a couple

of unbelievable seasons across the leagues and this one looks like it's going to be pretty exciting

as well so yeah nothing for me in my life has ever been more true than in this sense the phrase the more

you put into it the more you get out of it and i think that it became quite clear early on that

we did need to put plenty into it in order to get plenty out of it it wasn't going to be

necessarily easy certainly for the first few years when full-time jobs made scheduling harder.

But, you know, the continued support that we've had and the opportunities that we've had

off the back of, as you say, sitting and chatting as mates like we always have done since

we're about 10 years old about football is remarkable.

So, yeah, thank you
