for a long time and watched his work and watched his body of work grow as he's led one of the

pre-imminent think tank organizations in the country, the American Enterprise Institute. He is Dr.

Arthur C. Brooks, president of the American Enterprise Institute. He's served as president since January

of 2009. He's also the Beth and Revanelle Curry scholar in free enterprise. His new book, which we

want to get into, is Love Your Enemies, How Decent People Can Save America From Our Culture of

Contempt. Welcome Dr. Brooks. Thank you Michael Still and I'm great to talk to you as always.

I've been here for years, been admired you and just great new podcast and congratulations. Thank you

for having in listeners, bringing success is wonderful. Well, you know, it's a lot of fun. It's a new

way to communicate and have a conversation and it's not like we don't have a lot to talk about,

but how we talk about it and how we, you know, assess the impact of the words we say and the things

that we are conversing about. I think matters and it still matters more so today because of our

current political culture and environment, some of the societal things that, you know, we're sitting

now, we're just kind of, I guess shocked in some instances, but not shocked, you know, like the new,

you know, scandal with the people cheating to get into colleges and universities and, you know,

it's just like, wait a minute, hold up. How, how, what is going on culturally and what, what happened

to Decent People? And so you've got a book that touches on this, this idea of what, you know,

Decent People can do at this hour. Tell us about the book and it's coming out real soon, right?
