When Ronald Reagan was asked about his strategy for the Cold War, he had a simple answer.

We win, they lose.

Reagan was crystal clear about the Soviet Union and its intentions, but today few people understand the Chinese Communist Party is waging

a no-holds-barred People's War on America.

We need to design a strategy to respond to their actions in this new cold war and win this new

called war. China is making a lot of inroads in the global south in large part

because it's so affordable. We win they lose is the title of a new book by Matthew Kronig and Dan Negraia,

both working with the Atlantic Council.

They outline what such a Reagan-esque foreign policy, updated for today would look like.

Kronig is Vice President and Senior Director of the Scrocroft Center for Strategy

and Security, and Nogreya is Senior Director of the Freedom and Prosperity Center.
