Hey, turning your Bibles to Matthew chapter 7.

We have been tracking through the sermon on the mount on and off over the last, I don't

know, six months in between practices.

And we're nearing the end.

In fact, next week we in theory finish up.

And if you remember from before our practice that we just finished the teaching for on forgiving,

the end of the sermon on the mount is really fascinating.

Jesus is smart.

Would you agree with that?

Yes.

And a lot of us don't realize just how brilliant he was at every level.

And he ends the sermon not with a touching story to bring you to tears or with a kind of, you know,

pep talk, pentecostal rally like yes or whatever, and not with a practical application in acronym or

Literation form, A1, A2, A, none of that.

He ends with three warnings.

And warning number one was about two hot-os is the word in Greek and it can be translated ways or roads or paths of life that lead to two very different

destinations.

And one is a broad hot-os or way or road or path that a ton of people are on and it's basically kind of just live however you want.

And the other is a narrow way.

It's a very specific way to be human based on Jesus' teachings that we just read in the sermon on the mount.

So that was warning number one.

And now we're on to warning number two.
