I'm Shelby, and today is another producer-hosted episode.

Today we are talking all about joining a sorority for the right reasons or so we think. Let's jump right in.

So today we're actually going to be talking about a post we saw on Instagram. That's by at sorority standards.

They posted the top 10 reasons women joined sororities.

The source is from the National Panhellenic Conference sorority belonging,

diversity, well-being and joining survey, 2022 to 2023,

and a qualitative study of why women join pan-Helanic organizations.

So we're going to discuss if we all agree or if we disagree with these 10 reasons why women

joined sororities. Before we jump in, can you guys like tell me a little bit about why you joined a

sorority without knowing the 10 reasons yet?

When you went into a sorority, maybe give me like the top three, two to three reasons why

it was like important for you to join Creek life.

Um, for me, this might be like, I don't know, a nicheer thing for some groups, but,

so I rushed my sophomore year and I'm an athlete at my school.

Anyone who's an athlete just knows that athlete culture is just so tight-knit and it's

very hard to get out of.

And especially going to like a super large school too.
