Today on The Grave Talks, part two of our conversation about my spooked up life with author J.D. Phillips.

I did find that interesting that you weren't that old, you know, young teenager. And you knew to do that.

Because a lot of times, I don't know, you're too scared to confront anything like that.

Or you don't know that you would have the power.

So did you, had you read a book or did that just kind of feel intuitively to you like the right thing to do?

It just, it was basically the only thing that I could think to do.

I hadn't read anything or, again, I talked to anybody about it.

I didn't really believe in, like, spirit guys or anything that much back then, but I did at some point ask whoever, you know, just for help to push him out.

I don't know if that's what it was or I don't know where it came from, but that was just the only thing I

could think to do. And it worked. And I'm glad that I did learn that as early as it did,

because it's something that I've carried with me ever since. And it's something that I've

gotten more confident with as time has gone on.

Do you think that it pushed him out to the point that your parents quit having the experiences with him as well?

All of the negative or the, I guess, more obnoxious things did stop after that.

You just had kind of, which is what's still there now, kind of the more playful thing,

making the little noises or messing with a toy every now and then.

But it's not never in a way that felt malicious or even like they were trying to bother anybody like

there's just maybe they're bored i don't know maybe it's timid is still there and boots is gone

so timid isn't so scared and more playful she she may be i don't know um i didn't hear her

uh after i got to a certain age she stopped singing and She may be, I don't know. I didn't hear her.

After I got to a certain age, she stopped singing, and I didn't hear her anymore.

I do wonder a lot if she's still there.
