On March 30th, 1994, a crazy scene started unfolding in a motel room at the days in in

Corpus Christi, Texas.

Selena, Quintanilla Perez, the singer in international superstar, ran out of room 158 and started screaming

as she crossed a small courtyard.

She'd been shot.

The bullet had entered her right shoulder and severed an artery.

So as she ran toward the motel lobby, she was bleeding to death.
