And so Heidi May, we've been bouncing all over the desert-like scorched surface of Southern California today,

running errands, driving around, not fighting much traffic because a lot of people in Los Angeles,

they live in their cars, but by the early afternoon they're smart enough to know that if they don't seek shade,

something awful will happen to them and they might melt into the naugahide of their car seats.

So we drove way out Ventura Boulevard, had a meeting, signed paperwork, turned around, came back, found that we had not turned into beef jerky, that we had survived the sun and its wrath.

And so here's what we do on this podcast in case you've never tuned in before.
