I'm going to talk about Henry Everie.

He was also known as Henry Avery and Benjamin Bridgman and as long Ben Avery.

He's been on my short list for a while and it just said,

Henry Everie and then in parentheses, Pirate.

And I did not write any other indication of what prompted me to put it on there.

So it's a mystery why it caught my attention in the first place.

It was not uncharted for because I have not played that game.

But I do know that he figures into that game and in case folks are thinking of writing us to say,

he was uncharted for that was not where.

He did, though, carry out what's been described as the most profitable pirate raid in history.

And it was also to be clear, a particularly brutal and horrifying raid in its treatment of the women

and the men aboard the raided ship.
