Today on the show, we have a new friend of mine as of this past year,

Henrik Linder, the bass player from the band Dirty Loops.

Now, Dirty Loops and I did a collaborative album that just came out. It's called Turbo.

And you know what? We did it all remotely, pretty much. They did their stuff together.

I did stuff with my horn section here in Minneapolis. And you might ask yourself, well,

wait a minute, I thought I saw videos of you guys playing together.

That's the first thing I need to address.

Because you may have listened to the album and really enjoyed it and may have seen the videos and be like, whoa, that looks really cool.

Are those guys all in the same room?

And the answer is, no.

That's some visual trickery.

But not a lot of trickery.

It actually has a lot of technical mastery involved in it.

This is the most common question I get asked.

That's why I'm addressing it Redwood.

Hey, were you guys actually doing that live?

Were you, like, in the same room?

Yes, we're doing a live, but it's just dirty loops did their stuff in Sweden,

and I did my stuff in Minneapolis.
