0:10.8

some really great questions here. I'm just scanning through them quickly in the app. Don't forget,

0:16.1

for those of you who are watching, if you want to ask questions for this week's Q&A, you click

0:20.6

on the top

0:21.6

left tab in the app. And it's the one up here in the corner. It normally says general. But if

0:29.2

you click on it, then it will give you this little menu. And there's a, there's a forum in there

0:35.4

to ask Dr. Rachel questions. She is our resident menopause gynecologic surgeon, so you can ask her questions in there. And of course, if you want to ask me a question, there is a forum in there called Ask Kim Constable, and that is where I take the questions from. But I can take them as well from the chat if you guys have questions. So please feel free to drop them in there. All righty. I'm assuming that the questions from

0:55.8

seven days ago have been answered. So I'm going to jump into the ones that have been uploaded

1:02.2

from yesterday and Marie O'Neill has the first question. Hello, gorgeous Marie. And she says,

1:07.2

this is a bit of an intimate question. Oh, I like a little intimate question, Marie.

1:11.8

You come to the right place. I hope I don't offend anyone, but how does one prevent getting hemorrhoids when doing heavy weighted squats, etc.? Oh, Marie, Marie. There she is. She says, I'm just turning on my tea break 15 minutes. Well, I'm glad that you're here. You got in first. Okay, let's talk haemorrhoids, Marie. This is not an intimate question. This is something that I discuss in

1:30.5

everyday life with anyone who will listen. I'm very happy to discuss my haemorrhoids. So I have

1:36.2

been plagued with haemorrhoids since I had my kids, actually. I think it's a very common

1:41.5

thing that happens after having babies. I think they're actually

1:44.2

caused by hormones. And I had a new one appear recently. Like, oh great, like another one's come to

1:50.7

join the party. And it's funny, mine flare up depending on where I am in my cycle. Now, I don't

1:56.6

always have a period anymore. I think I'm like 38 days since my last one now. God knows when it's going to come. It does this showing no signs of coming, which is amazing. And the one that I had before this one was actually literally a, it was just like, I think it was there and it was gone. So I'm hoping that this might be like the end of my menstrual cycle now, which would be amazing. So anyway, I find that haemorrhoids for me, anyway, and I can only speak to, for personal experience, I am not a haemorrhoid expert by any means. But what I have found with haemorrhoids is that they flare up at different times of the month. So I will find that if I'm ever kind of mid-cycle and my body's like trying to spit out an egg, it's like, no, no, we can still ovulate. We can do this, girls, let's go. If that's ever happening, then that's when I would have a herpes flare up or a haemorrhoids flare up. It's always to do with, with changes in hormones. I also find because I track everything on my aura ring, it tracks my temperature. And I find that I get a big temperature spike. It's as my

2:53.2

temperature starts to spike in the app, I get a temperature spike and then it goes down if I'm ever

2:58.0

ovulating. And so that is that is when I'm going to have them as well. So I think you just have

3:03.5

to be conscious of when you would be more pruned to them. I know I'm more prone to them just

3:07.7

before I would get a period and mid-month whenever I, my body is trying to ovulate. And I will just
