What does it mean to thrive in Christ?

We've been exploring that theme here on Revive Our Hearts, and we asked our friend Mary Cassian.

When I hear the phrase thrive in Christ, I think of just becoming everything who God created you to be.

Having your identity solid in Jesus, but as a woman and also as who he created you to be

in your unique personality. So God doesn't make cookie cutter women. He makes a diversity

of women in his image, all for his glory. But you have different personalities,

different likes and dislikes, and we approach life different ways, and that's part of the beauty of it.

So when I think of thriving, I think of walking into who I am and discovering the joy and the delight and the fullness and becoming more confident in terms of who I am, understanding that that Who I am question is only answered through Christ.

I think you'll be encouraged about what God is doing and how you can be a part of it. I want to do

three things in these moments. One, just to give you a brief word from

the word. And then take a few moments to reflect on how we've seen God at work recently among us.

And then I want to update you on a few aspects of the ministry and share a few prayer requests

that we want to be covering over these next several weeks.
