You trying to be a street cop?

Driving up the Parkway this morning. Of course my mind sparked a thought. As I'm driving up the Parkway the New Jersey State Police had a few people pulled over, more than likely speeders. And every time I approach a patrol car, I make

sure the trooper is okay, make sure the cops okay. This is a habit that I've developed over the years

to ensure that my brother or sister on the side of the highway, if by chance happens to be in some

kind of struggle for their life, I will quickly in my mind pull over and render

assistance.

And I think I would probably speak on everybody's behalf of this group right now is that you probably would all do the same.

I would imagine that there's probably not a cop that wouldn't help another cop,

especially in physical duress right in need of help immediately what's a life

or death situation you may tell yourself that you're ready to be there for them during those times.

The question I have for you is, are you ready to be there for them when it's not those times?

Think about that. Ready to fight for them, but are you ready to help them when it's

non-physical. When they need you to be there to help them. They need somebody and the only people that we have to count on at times like this are our own brothers and systems.

That selfless act of going above and beyond to show and extend the courtesy to our brothers and sisters.

Whatever courtesy that may be, whether it's ensuring that they're reminded, hey, we got you, we're on the same team, don't worry about it, mistakes happen

that this person you love, they have done something, it's not a big deal, I have discretion,

you know, or I get that you weren't paying attention to the

speed, no big deal, right? Let's let's breathe this culture taking care of
